Ballistic clothing by how you live
Everyday and covert: the Krypton hoodie, the ballistic tank top and t-shirt, and the KEOPS quilted vest are cut like ordinary clothes and made to be worn every day.
Outerwear: the Sentinel softshell jacket and the MILES jacket-style vest suit travel, riding and days when you want a protective layer over everything else.

Choosing a protection level
Ballistic clothing uses soft armor, which is rated for handgun threats. NIJ Level IIIA is designed to stop rounds such as 9mm, .357 SIG, .44 Magnum and .45 ACP. Rifle rounds need hard plates rated Level III or Level IV, which are sold separately. The protection levels page shows what each level is rated to stop.
No armor stops every threat. Read the level and the rounds it is tested against before you choose, and let the certification, not the marketing, guide the decision.
Care, warranty and the Survivors Club
Remove the ballistic panel before washing, wash cold and air dry. Ballistic warranties run 8 to 10 years depending on the product and cover the ballistic performance of the panel from the date of purchase. Through the Survivors Club, a garment struck by a projectile in service is repaired or replaced free.

How do I choose between a hoodie, a jacket and a vest?
Start with how visible you want the armor to be. A hoodie or a tank top is the most discreet. A softshell jacket adds weather protection and full torso coverage. A vest is the simplest layer to add over or under other clothes.
Does ballistic clothing stop rifle rounds?
No. Soft armor clothing is rated for handgun threats. Rifle rounds need Level III or Level IV plates in a carrier.
